The formation of a new partnership group in Tameside aimed bringing together communities from the different Mosques and Madrasahs required a logo and corporate identity to represent their group. Core values needed to be represented visually, whilst also providing as much visual reference as to the purpose of the group as possible.

The core visual element is an outline of the Tameside Metropolitan Borough, which provides a window through which the Mosque protrudes. The map outline provides an asymmetry and roughness that stops the logo from feeling too impersonal. Elegant and simple type is combined with corporate blue and grey tones, to portray core values such as forward thinking and professionalism.
